Site Wide RP (The Planning Stage)

I know we’ve done really well as a site in reaching our goal of 55 members by the end of July, and I’ve promised a site-wide RP! But before we can start this roleplay, we need to figure out what the topic is going to be, who will be in it, what characters you’ll be using, what monsters we will fight (if any), the setting of the RP, and other random plot details that we need to figure out. Before we begin the RP, I would like to have a pretty good idea of what we will roleplay about. Each member who sees this post needs to reply with suggestions from each category.

Firstly, Monsters.
We can choose to fight a monster in this RP or multiple monsters if you wish. Daleks, Weeping Angels, Cybermen… whatever we decide as a site, we will have in our RP. Someone can even create their own alien or creature if they wish. IF we decide to create a new creature, we will have to decide further on its description. (I suggest we fight a creature from the Doctor Who Universe.) If we choose to have a RP with our characters simply all meeting each other, please say no monster in your reply.

Secondly, Setting.
There are many places we can choose as the setting to this RP. Firstly, we need to choose a planet (or moon). Gallifrey, Earth, the Moon… the list can go on.
Once we have decided on a planet or moon, we need to decide where on the planet. If it is Earth, we need to pick a country, maybe even city. For example, a choice could be London, England. Next, we need a time period for this. 19th century England? 22nd century America? It is your choice. Everyone must agree.

Now. If you are planning to be in this RP, and I highly suggest that every member active on the site participate in this, you need to reply to this thread with the following:
• The character you will be using
• Your suggestion for the monster to fight (if any, and how many)
• Where the RP should take place
• What time period the RP should take place in
• The exact date we should start the RP (I have said towards the end of July, but we should pick a date as a site that is reasonable)
• Do you think it should be a RP where all of our characters meet each other? Meet or Fight? Action or Socializing?
• Any ideas for a plot that you may have??

I will be using The Lieutenant.
I thought maybe there could be an unknown enemy that becomes revealed through the RP as the Master working with the Weeping Angels or another monster like the Daleks or the Cybermen or all three.
I think a nice place for the RP to take place would be Keplar-452b.

I think they should meet up with each other, get past the confusion stage and work together.
Something brought them all there and they don't know what. Nothing works so they are stranded there until they work together and defeat the enemy who is, as of this moment, unknown among them. They are stranded or they work together, simply.


Time's Children.

I really like your idea, Lieutenant!

Weeping Angels would be a really fun and exciting monster to try to fight, and I like the idea of them working with the Master.

If all of us use our OC Time Lords, that would be an awesome title. Let's just see how the other members think.

I love the idea of using all three. Combining Weeping Angels, Daleks, Cybermen, and the Master rules them all with an iron fist. I also agree with the setting and time zone. Mainly, cause it sounds interesting haha. Them meeting up and not knowing what's going on is good and the rest of it sounds awesome. I like that idea Lieutenant. ^-^ I suppose I'll be using Tenth Doctor. He seems like a good canon character for this topic. I'm in!

Yeah, I don't think it necessary for EVERYONE to use an OC Time Lord but it would be good if a few could. I had this image of a few OC and canon companions being there too but it's up to you really. Presuming everyone ended up there with no memory of how they got there and all arrived from different times, Time's Children seems to be appropriate to me. Maybe when they defeat this unknown enemy, they remember how they got there? And I thought of The Gomez Master but I can just as equally see the Simm Master, the Rathbone Master, the Ainley and Delgado Masters. What do you think?

To be honest, I saw Rose, Donna and Tegan there but that can be twisted, you know?

I like the idea of us using our OC Time Lords, it gives the topic a powerful feeling. The couple members who don't have OC Time Lords can be companions of whichever or whomever they decide.

I think it would be best if we used the Gomez Missy in this RP, but we need someone to apply for her. (If no one else does, I will)

I really like the name Time's Children, but it really only will work if most of the characters are Time Lords, you get what I'm saying?

I've got a plan.

For some reason, a strange planet in the future is emitting some weird signal. All of the Time Lords mentioned in this topic pick up on it, and decide to check it out. (Maybe they think it's Gallifrey again?) When they get there, almost at the same time, they're really confused and we'll spend a couple posts being confused and asking questions, and then we'll see like a Dalek eyestalk or a Cyberman head or both, and we all realize we're in danger. Something or someone is bringing these monsters together, and we all have to figure out what. Maybe along the way we run into Weeping Angels, but I'm leaning more towards Cybermen and Daleks.

What do you guys think about that plan? I love it xD

Yeah, the Gomez Master will work. Time's Children could be time travelers, not just Time Lords but we could encourage people to use OC Time Lords.The plan is very very good. I can see, in all the confusion, the Lieutenant being very understanding as his TARDIS is type 30 and this happens regularly.

Alright, I'm about to leave the house and don't exactly have enough time to post my app yet, with how my computer's been acting, but it'll be up later tonight. First, though, I wanna know which Doctors are interested? And you know... if anyone has any sort of backstory with Missy I should know about. Or the Master in general.

Also, it's to my understanding that so far, we got that Missy's doing something with the Daleks and the Cybermen. If you want, I kind of have a vague idea with that, and I could RP a few NPC sorta monsters? Before actually pulling Missy into it.

I can supply Jenny as soon as she gets found and taken out of whatever century in the future she's currently in...(I'm thinking a ten/jenny thread could fix that?)
